Need to register your student to ride the school bus? 🚌 Please fill out the Bus Ridership Form.

The first step in setting up transportation for your student is to complete the Bus Ridership Form, agree to the Ridership Policies, and be assigned to a bus route. Once assigned, you will be able to utilize the My Ride K-12 App!

School Bus Ridership Form The minimum walking distances, one way, for grade levels are as follows: Grades K-5 = 1 mile / Grades 6-8 = 1.5 miles / Grades 9-12 = 2 miles Transportation is provided only to and from the nearest bus stop to the eligible student’s place of residence and their attendance zone school. Transportation Graphic- Let’s get started! The first step in setting up transportation for your student is to call or email the Transportation Department to be assigned to a bus route. Once assigned, you will be able to utilize the My Ride K-12 App! Call 575-812-6017 or email transportation@alamogordoschools.org My Ride K-12 provides quick access to your child’s routing information, which can include the bus stop, route, driver, and bus number. My Ride K-12 can also utilize GPS data to give parents and guardians access to information on where their child’s school bus is and what time it is expected to be at their scheduled bus stop. Alamogordo Public Schools may also send notifications through the app.

Join us during the Back to School Block Party on Friday, July 31, for one of two FREE 30-minute informational sessions to learn what Parent University is all about!

🕟 Sessions begin at 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
